I guess it's about time I blog. Life has been rather full lately, so it's been hard to find the time to blog. This week I did make a rather big decision though and that was to stop chatting online, at least for awhile. I feel like I really need to seek the Lord's face and quite frankly talking online was not helping that. As much as I care about ya'll my relationship with God is far more important.

Some things that I've been pondering have been, ironically, listening to God.

1). God is known for telling you to do very normal systematic things that are a carbon copy of what everybody else is doing. You know things like sacraficing your son instead of a ram, building a boat when it never rains, and stuff like that. Okay, face it God tells us to do weird out of the box stuff. He tells us to do stuff that it seems like there is no possible way that this could be right. That's because you are holding one tiny puzzle piece and you are trying to tell God that this puzzle piece doesn't belong. How do you know when you can't see the entire space of the puzzle? From the beginning of time people have doubted God's outlandish instructions. Sara laughed. The crucial thing is being close enough to God that you will know His voice and know that He is telling you that this is the next step.

2). God is trying to hide His will from you. Ummmm.... no. God wants you to follow His will and He wants you to know it. Isaiah 30:21 says that, "Whether you turn to right or to the left your ears will hear a Voice behind you saying this is the way walk ye in it." Even if you happen to turn your head that instant God speaks, you are still going to hear it. The Bible also says that if anybody lacks wisdom, you should ask of God. God isn't up in Heaven saying, "Oh bummer, they ALMOST found My will... I'm going to have to hide it better next time."

I really liked this, something I feel the Lord has been telling me. Now that you mentioned though, I have to follow through with it as well :P Thanks for the encouragement dearie (hug)
