While it's still today....

Eyes swollen from tears, tissue box empty, and nobody to talk to. It seems that lifes battles are a hundred times more painful without somebody there to walk through them with you.
I think that's part of why God said, "Exhort one another daily while it is still today". Why exhort one another?

Lest they become hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. God uses the people in our life to pick us back and encourage us to higher heights. God wants us to exhort each other to seek the better, the higher, the nobler.

To lift up the arms that hang low. Those of us that are seeking the Lord are on the battlefield. The enemy would like nothing more than to take us out... and we need the encouragement of others to not grow weary in well doing.

Recently there was a suicide, it was my friend's brother. Somebody said that they saw it coming, they knew that he was floundering. And I couldn't comprehend knowing and not doing anything about it. Knowing that someone was floundering and needed help and just leaving it there. And yet it's not just about suicide, there are people all over the place that are wounded and bleeding and need words of life. They might hide it well and put on a smile that could fool anyone. But they need to be exhorted while it's still today.
