Robert Murray M'Cheyne was a Scottish Pastor who died at age 29. He was never all that healthy and refused to slow down in his work for the Lord. One of his quotes really struck me.
I am concerned for the poor, but more for you. I know not what Christ will say to you in that Great Day. I fear there are many hearing me who may well know that they are not Christians because they do not love to give. To give largely and liberally, not grudging at all, requires a new heart; an old heart would rather part with it's life blood than it's money. Oh my friends! Enjoy your money; give none away; enjoy it quickly for I can tell you, you will be beggars throughout eternity.
What are your thoughts?

The best hearts are the kinds that give generously. :)
Right, Caitlin. And a lot of that has to do with having open eyes and heart in tune with Christ's. If we aren't one with Him and following His leading... it's pretty futile. But a heart that is willing to pour itself out for the cause of Christ. That's pretty awesome. :)
Are you reading Crazy Love by any chance? Very challenging book that :-)
