{Forgiveness is not.... lessening a sin}

Forgiveness does not mean that you lessen the gravity a sin. The reason why we can not lessen a sin is because that was a sin that Jesus Christ died for. We are to forgive as we were forgiven. God didn't look down and give some "denial response". "Well, you know, anybody could have done it. So it's okay." His Son died for that sin and He in no way blindly said it was okay. Sin is never okay. We need to learn to call sin by it's real name and stop taking a Biblical command out of context to in some way mask over it's true filth.
