Siblings

For my birthday my littlest sister carefully prepared my birthday present. She had gotten me chocolates. With it she put in a note that she had written herself. It said, "In need I need you". Not the typical birthday note. But it made me think that as an older sibling I rarely realize what I mean to my younger siblings. I rarely realize that taking the time to go on a walk or taking her to McDonald's for breakfast means the world to her. I don't often realize that little siblings need their big siblings to be there, not just for the big things, but every day.
